Death:
Sympathy is offered to the family of Mike Joe O’Flaherty who died last week. A very popular and well respected member of the community, he worked at Moyvane Co-op for many, many years. Married to the love of his life, Eily Mai, for over fifty years he raised a large family and is survived by his wife, daughters, Kay & Mary, sons, Tim, Micheal, Martin, John, Seamus & Pat. He was predeceased by his son, Tom. Mike Joe loved to play cards and was a regular at Brosnan’s on Tuesday nights. In recent years his health had declined and the Wren hasn’t been the same without him. Sympathy is also extended to his brother and sisters. May he rest is peace.
