MOYVANE/KNOCKANURE

GAMES: A team took part in the U-13 boys indoor soccer at the Community Centre. The Listowel team included: Patrick Curtin, Damien Carmody, Niall Sheehan, Ivan O’Brien, Patrick Moloney, Jamie Naughton, Tom Brosnan. Colm Carmody, their manager, helped and coached the team.

Dates to remember for the following events: Basketball U-13 Girls, Monday April 16, at Listowel Community Centre 10am; U-15 badminton, Wednesday, April 18, at 7pm in Causeway. This Sunday, Moyvane will host the U-16 choir and U-15 Culture Corner at the Marian Hall, Moyvane, 2pm.

G.A.A. minors: Moyvane are playing Cordal/Scartaglin in Cordal this Friday at 6.30pm in the county league. Players will be at Brosnan’s Corner at 5.30pm. sharp.

Seniors: Moyvane had a great victory in the first round of County league, last Sunday, over Valentia. Moyvane were down two points at half time, but goals from Conor Flynn and Eddie Bowler put our lads back into the game and we held on to win a score of Moyvane 2-9, to Valentia 1-8. The win was vital and if Moyvane can keep the momentum going, it can stay well up the league table.

The North Kerry league is due to start this Sunday. Moyvane are down to play Ballyduff in Moyvane. Players have to check posters for a definite fixture.

Under 14: Moyvane are playing Knocknagoshel in the first round of the County league this Saturday in Moyvane at 5pm. Players will be in the dressing rooms at 4.45 sharp.

Under 16: Moyvane start their North Kerry league on Wednesday night April 4. Players have to check with Tomas Keane or Michael Walsh for a definite fixture.
