Moyvane Notes – 31st May, 2003

MOYVANE’S under 12’s have finished the first phase of the county league and are now awaiting the fixtures for the second phase. They will have a game on Sunday and are asked to check with their trainer regarding fixture.

Last week our under 14’s lost to Beale in the first round of the North Kerry league. Tonight (Wednesday) they play Ballydonoghue in Knockanure at 8pm. Next Wednesday they play St. Senans in Knockanure again at 8pm.

A pub quiz in aid of the Martial Arts club will be held on Friday night next in Brosnan’s Bar, please support.

Moyvane seniors are playing Emmets in the semi final of the North Kerry league next Wednesday in Ballylongford at 8pm. This is a chance for our lads to reach a final and lets hope they can take it. On Saturday, June 8, we are playing Laune Rangers ‘B’ in the County league in Killorglin at 7.30pm.

Moyvane juniors are playing Aunnascaul in the Urban league this Friday at 8pm.

Our under 10’s are going very well at the moment and are playing a lot of matches. last week they played a very exciting game with Tarbert and on Friday night they take on Ballyduff in Ballyduff. All boys and girls are asked to assemble at the Community Centre car park at 6.30pm sharp. There will be games for both boys and girls. It is hoped that maybe a few more parents would turn up and give a bit of help and support.

The Tidy towns village clean up takes place this Thursday at 7.30pm. All are welcome.

A meeting of the Development Association will be held next Tuesday in the Marian Hall at 9pm.
