The ICA held a very successful Family Fun Day on Sunday, November 24th. There was a large crowd and everyone enjoyed the day. The draw winners are as follows:
- First Prize: Hamper valued at €100 sponsored by Newtownsandes Co. op was won by Eilish Perryman from Listowel.
- Second Prize: Turkey Voucher sponsored by Tom and Eileen Roche was won by Rory Lally.

HARD TIMES 1:
Just a reminder, Hard Times 1 will be screened in the Classic Cinema, Listowel on Friday, December 06 at 8.00pm. All proceeds donated to Aras Mhuire Nursing Home, Listowel.

CEILI:
Keep the date, Friday, December 27th for a Ceili in The Marian Hall, Moyvane. This is a fundraiser for the North Kerry branch of MS Ireland, an organisation that provides support for so many people. Music is by Donie Nolan and start time is 9.30pm.

Winterfest in Newcastle West will take place from December 6th to December 15th. A dance in aid of the local volunteers with the Ray of Sunshine Foundation who are travelling to Kenya in January will take place at Fr. Casey’s Clubhouse on Sunday, December 8th from 3pm-6pm. Teas served. Admission €5. Music by Donie Walsh. Your support is welcomed.

Knocknafierna Rambling House will hold a special second anniversary remembrance for the late Johnny Donegan on Sunday, December 15 at the Desmond Complex, Newcastlewest (behind the library) at 7.30pm. This “A night at the Rambling House” is a must for all traditional entertainers. A raffle will be held on the night. All are welcome and admission is free.
