Death:
The death took place recently of P. J. Kennedy who played full back for Moyvane in 1963 when they won the North Kerry League, Championship and Frank Sheehy Memorial Tournament. At the time he was a member of the Garda Siochana and was stationed in Moyvane. He also played with the North Kerry divisional side at the time, was a member of the Clare Senior Football team and the Munster Railway Cup team. He was 72 and died suddenly while on holidays in Spain. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters. A mini bus of his Moyvane team mates traveled to Clare to his funeral and took part in the guard of honour. May he rest in peace.
