The night, filled with nostalgia, was a great success with a crowd of over 400 attending. Carnival memorabilia was on display in the community centre over the weekend and provided beautiful memories for many of the people present.

The Boro Players performed their third play “A Night to Remember” directed by Aine & Eileen Cronin and it was a night to remember as the cast were outstanding. This group only in their third year have exceptional talent. M.C. on the night Tom Moore (renowned Story Teller and Singer himself) had the crowd entertained with his hilarious yarns. The night was a fantastic success and a credit to all involved. Thanks to all those who took part and helped behind the scenes.
  • Bank Holiday Monday saw The North Kerry Harriers hold the first Hunt of the season. Over 30 horses took part. It was a wonderful sight, as always, to see the hunt leave the village in such a dramatic fashion. A Halloween Party & Fancy Dress took place in The Marian Hall attended by over 50 kids. Face painting, dancing and party games proved a great hit with all present and the costumes were exceptional. Winner of the Fancy Dress was David Brassil. The weekend’s programme of events finished with the final of the Moyvane GAA Football Tournament which was won by Clounmacon on the day with a one point win over Moyvane. This tournament was organised by Moyvane GAA in conjunction with Development. Winner of Man of the Match was Timmy Mulvihill, Clounmacon.
