A notice for our Knockanure community. The Defibrillator is available at the Community Centre Knockanure. The key is in a glass case beside it, anybody trained or skilled to operate the Defibrillator can access it, unfortunately the committee do not have enough trained responders to operate this service. We are and have been seeking members of the community to come and be trained but to date we do NOT have sufficient numbers to have the service operational. Training will be done in house by our qualified trainers Ann Flavin and Margaret Carmody. This service to our community is of the utmost importance and we would request as many people to make contact to avail of the training in order that the service if and when required is fully operational with trained responders.
