GAA

Moyvane Seniors lost their North Kerry league crown to Desmonds on Friday night after a very close and entertaining game. Our lads tried all they knew but the craftier Castleisland men took their scores better than our lads and held on to win by 1 – 12, to 1 – 6. Moyvane can be pleased with their performance and with a bit more direct football we might be even closer. Next week they play Laune Rangers B in the County league on Saturday night in Clounmacon at 7.30pm. A win here would be very useful and get us back into contention in the league. Moyvane Juniors are playing St. Pats in Blennerville at 7.30pm. They are going very well in this league so lets hope they can keep it going. The under-12s start their second phase of the County league next Sunday. Players are asked to check with their trainers about fixture. The under-14s play Ballylongford/Asdee this Wednesday in Ballylongford at 7.30pm sharp. Bus will leave village at 7pm.
