Moyvane GAA – Senior Results:
Moyvane lost by a point to Cromane in Round 10 of the County League played in Moyvane on Sunday last. Cromane went in at the break leading by a point 1-6 to 1-5, with goals from Moyvane’s David Moloney and Cromane’s Sean Walsh. Two points from Paddy Curtin gave Moyvane the lead early in the second half but Cromane scored 3 goals in succession bringing the score to 4-8 to 1-8. Moyvane rallied and points from Brian Stack, Paddy Curtin and Jackie along with a Cathal O’ Connor goal saw them lose out in a close finish on a final score line of Moyvane 2-13, Cromane 4-8. Moyvane ICA presented a cheque for €5,000 to the Nano Nagle Summer Camp Committee. This money was the proceeds of this year’s Charity Walk. Do you want to go to Cork to do your Christmas shopping? The annual ICA trip takes place on Wednesday, December 3, leaving at 7am. The Family Fun Day will be held in The Marian Hall on Sunday, November 30 from 2 to 4pm.

Brendan Sheehy who died recently in England. He was a native of Moyvane and son of Sgt. Sheehy. He was brother to Norma, Glin, Carmel, Vincent & Imelda.
