Senior Badminton:
The following are the results of the Christmas Fun Tournament. Ladies winners were Deirdre Normoyle and Eleanor Sheehan, runners up Elaine Hudson and Eileen Roche. Men’s winners were Con Mulvihill and Diarmuid Fitzmaurice and runners up were Chris McCarthy and Paul Kennelly. Our thanks to those who contributed raffle prizes for our invitation tournament, Chris McCarthy Plant Hire, Corridan’s Garage, John Flaherty Buses, Marian Hall Committee, Holly’s Gala, Marie Nolan and Margaret O’Donnell. These along with our Sponsors helped to make our 25th tournament a very successful event.
Senior Scór:
North Kerry Finals of Senior Scór will be held at the Community Centre Asdee on Saturday night January 22nd commencing at 7.30pm sharp. The event is once again very kindly sponsored by Tom O’Sullivan of O’Sullivan’s Agri, Kilcolman Asdee. All Clubs are expected to be represented on the night. It is compulsory to take part in any two of the eight categories but you can compete in as many competitions as desired. Figure Dancing, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music, Recitation, Ballad group, Novelty Act, Question Time or Set Dancing. All the winners on the night will then go forward to the County Finals will go ahead on Sunday, February 13 at the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney.
