Moyvane Notes – 6th July, 2009

Moyvane GAA:
Seniors: Congratulations to Moyvane seniors who were crowned North Kerry League Division 1 champions after a fantastic win over Beale in Duagh last Saturday night. Down a point at the break, 0-4 to 0-5, Moyvane dominated the second half letting their fitness show in the last 15 minutes. They cleaned up at midfield towards the end, slotting over three unanswered points to win the game on a final score of Moyvane 0-11 to Beale 0-8. It was great to see such support for Moyvane and a large crowd entered the field after the final whistle for the presentation of the cup, sponsored by Farrell Brothers Quarry, to Moyvane captain John Jack Mulvihill and the Man of the Match award to Bryan Stack. Many congratulations to the team, management and trainer on a job well done. Moyvane seniors are at home to Fossa in the County League on next Sunday, July 12th at 2.30pm.
Minors: The minors are away to Duagh in the NKL on this Thursday night, July 9th at 7.30pm.
Juniors: The juniors will play Emmets C in the County League semi-final on Friday July 10th. Details of this fixture are not yet finalised.
