CEOL an Gheimhridh will take place after Christmas for anyone interested in taking part in music, singing, storytelling, set dancing, etc., age groups under 14 and 14-18 years. The annual Christmas dinner for Moyvane/Knockanure senior citizens will be held on Sunday, December 15 at the Listowel Arms Hotel at 2pm sharp. Please book with Maureen Nolan 49365, Noelle O’Callaghan, 49350, Eileen Quinn, 49472, Mary Carroll 49331 and Eileen Kennelly 49334. Spot prizes welcome.

The Paul O’Flaherty Benefit dance will be held this Friday night at The Gables, Athea. Music by Joe O’Keeffe.

A craft fair will be held next Sunday from 12pm to 6pm in the Lanterns Hotel.

The Council has erected nine new lights with steel pylons and underground cable back by the Moyvane Sportsfield and should be operating shortly.

The Knockanure ICA will host a talk on “Colour me Beautiful” in Flynn’s Bar-Kitchen, Knockanure this Wednesday night at 7.30pm. All are welcome.
