Newtown Athletic FC:
Newtown Athletic FC club wishes to express its gratitude and sincere thanks to everyone who supported their recent fundraising race night in Nolan’s bar. Well done to all who helped in organizing such an enjoyable night. A special word of thanks to our sponsors, to the people who bought horses and to the punters on the night, to the people who ran the tote in such a professional manner, the raffle ticket sellers, and to Tom Moore who did an excellent job as M.C on the night. Thanks to Speedy himself and the Village Grill who organized the food and the very busy bar staff. Congrats to all winners on the night.

West Limerick Set Dancing Club:
The West Limerick Set Dancing Cub are holding a set ceílí in the Convent Hall, Abbeyfeale at 3pm. Music by Murt Kelliher. All are welcome.

North Kerry Pioneer Annual Social:
The North Kerry Pioneer Annual Social will take place on Friday, January 26th 2007 at Kirby’s Lanterns Hotel, Tarbert. Music by Johnny Barrett. Tickets available from Michael Liston or Mary Kearney, The Village.

Many thanks to all those who helped with and contributed to the Church-Gate Collections. The amount raised was €716.16 in Moyvane and €161.27 in Knockanure.

7 Days Trial:
The film 7 Days Trial, set in Ireland in the 50’s is a comedy of meanness and greed. Now on DVD or video and available from Holly’s and Nolan’s Foodstores or from Leo Finnucane, Moyvane on 087-695572.
