Market-Craft Fair:
A Farmer’s Market and Craft Fair will be held at the Bridewell Tarbert on Saturday June 25th, from 10:30am to 2pm. Table, costs €5.
Abbeyfeale’s first Parish Fete run in conjunction with St Mary’s Boys school will be held at Fr. Casey’s Grounds and Clubhouse on Sunday, June 12th from 1pm-6pm. There will be a Donkey Derby, Dog Show, Wheel of Fortune, and Lady’s Marathon with entrants running or walking around the GAA grounds and the back roads. Face painting, guess the weight, pegs on a line, twister, jenga blocks, throw the welly and a talent competition with entry fee just €2 featuring dancing, drama, bands, singing etc are just some of the items planned for the younger members of the community. Local auctioneer and youth club leader Jerry Flynn will conduct an auction of donated items. Stalls selling cakes, plants, locally grown vegetables and jams, books and bric a brac will be located in the car park at the club with barbecued food, tea, coffee and goodies available in the Club house.
