Moyvane GAA – Results:
Moyvane Seniors lost to Castleisland Desmonds 0-9 to 2-10 in the North Kerry League on Friday last.

Moyvane Juniors drew with Listowel Emmets 1-6 to 1-6 in the North Kerry League on Tuesday, 3rd April.  

Fixtures:
Moyvane Seniors have two County League games this weekend. First, they play St. Senan's on Friday, 13th April in Mountcoal at 7pm. They then play host to Ballylongford on Saturday, 14th April at 7pm.  

Membership:
Membership is still open at €30 for players and €10 for non-players.  

Badminton:
It’s the last month of the Badminton season and League final’s are being played. Moyvane’s Div 3 team are playing Listowel in Castleisland on Friday next (April 13th) at 8pm. Best of luck to them.

Ladies & Mens Div 5 challenge continues – the Ladies defeated Listowel 5-1 at home. The team was: Krystel Crowley, Francine Collins, Eleanor Sheehan & Eileen Roche. The Men were 3 all against Listowel at home but lost by one set. The team was: Sean Pender, Maurice Cuddigan, Padraig Hanrahan & David McEnerney. Knockout Cup: Div 5 defeated Kenmare 4-3 in Kenmare. The team was: Krystel Crowley, Francine Crowley, Eileen Roche, John Corbett, Sean Pender & Michael Nolan.

Carmel Hudson & Jeanelle Griffin were finalists in the Div 3 Doubles Championship in Tralee 1st place. Carolanne Warrilow was finalist in Div 4 Doubles Championship. Carmel Hudson won the Listowel Div 3 tournament.

Easter Ceremonies:
The Easter Ceremonies took place over the weekend. Holy Thursday Mass was celebrated by Fr. John Lucid P.P. on Thursday last. The Passion of Our Lord Ceremony took place on Good Friday afternoon with Stations of the Cross taking place in the evening. The Easter Vigil was celebrated by Fr. John Lucid P.P. and Fr. Brendan O’Callaghan on Saturday night. Easter Sunday Mass was celebrated by Fr. Lucid P.P.

Mission Appeal:
Mission Appeal next Saturday and Sunday (14th & 15th April) by Fr. Andy Keating for St. Patrick’s Missionaries Kiltegan.

Deaths:
The death took place recently of Jeremiah Francis Barry, Gortdromagowna, Knockanure. He was 60 years of age. His remains were removed to Knockanure Church on Sunday last. He was buried in the Old Cemetery Knockanure following Requiem Mass on Monday last. He is survived by his brothers, relatives and friends. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.

Sympathy is extended to Julia Stack on the death of her sister Mary Agnes Browne (nee Fitzgerald) Athea.
