REVIEW

IT has been quite an eventful year in the locality. In October a commerorative weekend was held in memory of the late Phil Cunningham who was from Glownlee, Moyvane. Phil Cunningham was very active in Munster region during the 1798 Rebellion and later was executed for his activities. At the commemorations, a plaque was erected at the entrance to the school to commerorate the 200th anniversary of his death.

Moyvane GAA were busy redeveloping the playing field, and work has already begun in the reconstruction of the stand. The Development Association has also been active around the village.
