Development Association:
It is with regret that the association has decided to put a nominal charge on the the use of the plastic tables. This is due to the delay in returning same and damage which is being done to some. There will be a small charge of €5 per table with a refundable deposit of €50 after inspection of the tables. To book tables please call 068 49298.
Senior Badminton:
The last Kerry competition of the season was held in Tralee on Wednesday night where The Knockout Cup finals were decided. Moyvane contested the Division 5 Final and it was the closest match of the night. After the first four games, two Ladies and two Mens Doubles, Moyvane were 1-3 down to Killarney, so with a battle on their hands, Moyvane won the first Mixed, then lost the first set of the second Mixed. At this stage it looked all over for Moyvane but they took the second Mixed 21-20 and inspite of Killarney’s fightback and to the delight of the team and supporters Moyvane took the third on the same tight score 21-20 winning by 8 sets to 7. Well done to the team, Timmy Flaherty, Timmy Larkin, Liam Corridan, Mike Ryan, Micheal Nolan, Suzanne Keane, Charlotte Fitzgerald, Celia O’Grady and Eileen Roche. The End of Season Tournament was played on Monday night. Results were: Division 5 winners, Michelle Corridan and Micheal Nolan, second Charlotte Fitzgerald and Mike Ryan. Division 3-4 Ladies, winners were Carmel Hudson and Louise Behan, second Saorcha Fitzgerald and Krystle Crowley, Division 2, 3 & 4 Mens, winners Donnacha Moloney and Chris McCarthy second Denis Buckley and Padraig Kearney.
Moyvane/Knockanure Community Games:
Moyvane Knockanure community games will hold their athletics evening on May 17th at 5.30 pm in the Con Brosnan Park, Moyvane. Community games caters for boy and girls from u8 to u16 confined to the parish of Moyvane and Knockanure in sprints, long distance, hurdles and field events. The first four in each event will qualify for the County Finals, to be held at An Riocht track Castleisland on Saturday, June 25th and Sunday, June 26th.

U16s Girls Football:
Congratulations to the u16 girls on winning the North Kerry Division 3 League. The trophy was presented to team captain Erin Finucane by Maurice McNamara from the County Board.
