Moyvane Development/Tidy Towns:
A meeting will be held in the Marian Hall this Friday night, October 12th at 9pm to discuss the Moyvane Village Draft Plan. All are welcome. The plan is on display on Mike Kennelly’s old shop window and can also be viewed on www.moyvane.com Your comments are welcome by members of the committee or can be placed in the comment box in Noel Stack’s butcher shop before this meeting.
Moyvane Village Festival:
On Sunday, October 28th, in conjunction with the Village Festival and the Vintage Display, there will be a Small Business Trade & Craft Fair. Moyvane/Knockanure Community Games:
AGM will be held in the Marian hall on Monday, October 15th at 7 30 pm. Last year was very successful year and hopefully it will continue into 2013. New people would be welcome on board. If you, or more important, your children have interest in any community games activity or events please come to the meeting. Community games caters for children from u6 to u16 in athletics, team and culture events.
Night at the Dogs:
Aware Ireland in conjunction with Tesco, Abbeyfeale (this is their charity of the year) are holding a night out at Tralee greyhound track on Saturday, November 10th with first race at 7.50pm.Tickets are €20 for 2 adults or 2 adults plus 2 or 3 children. There will be lots of fun with Bouncy Castle and Face Painting, spot prizes galore plus a chance to win €500 first prize. Tickets available at local Post Office, Noel Stack, butchers, Molly’s Newtownsandes co-op, Holly’s Gala and Kennelly’s Hardware.
North Kerry Eagles Special Olympic Club:
The North Kerry Eagles Special Olympic Club are holding their Annual Church Gate Collection next weekend Saturday, October 13th and Sunday, October 14th at all Masses. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Variety Concert:
A Variety Concert will be held in the Marian Hall, Moyvane on Sunday, October 14th at 3pm. Guaranteed to be jam packed with Entertainment Galore. All welcome. Tickets are €5 per person and proceeds will go towards the Slemon Dancers from Moyvane who will compete in the World Irish Dancing Championship Competition in Boston USA in March 2013.
