BINGO AND BLOTTO Watch this space. At last it looks like we may be back to normal again later this month. It has been a long time and there are many changes. Hopefully you are all well and ready to return to Bingo. We will do our best to keep you safe.The Blotto will be held as usual at Bingo on Thursday night. Many of you probably have envelopes since before we closed. Can you please bring them back to bingo and we will include them in the draw. The Jackpot was €6,500 when we finished in March 2020 so it will continue as usual.
 
MURHUR NS The Parents committee will hold a clothes collection later this month. This is a very important fundraiser for the school and your support would be greatly appreciated. The Marian Hall will be open to accept your donations on Saturday, October 16 for two hours from 10.00am to 12 noon and Wednesday October 20 for one hour from 7.00pm to 8.00pm. You have been very supportive in the past so thank you in advance.
 
MOYVANE GAA LOTTO::There was no winner of the  €4,200 Jackpot in last Sunday night’s draw. Numbers drawn were  13   15   17   20. Lucky dips: €40 each: Dan & Brid Flavin, Aughrim. Thank you to Diarmuid Fitzmaurice for helping with the draw. Tickets are available online by following the link on Moyvane GAA Facebook Page.  All online entries must be registered by 6.00pm on the day of the draw.  Entries after 6.00pm will be entered in the next draw. Tickets are also available at Kennelly’s Homevalue Hardware, Holly’s Gala, Stack’s Butchers, Corridan’s Garage, Newtownsandes Co-op, A New U and Curl Up & Dye. You can also contact any Committee Member. Next week’s Jackpot is €4,600 and the draw will be held on Sunday, October 10, outdoors at Con Brosnan Park at 8.00pm. FIXTURES: Novice Club Championship Round 1: Moyvane will welcome Asdee to Con Brosnan Park on Sunday, October 10 at 2.30pm in Round 1 of the Novice Club Championship. The very best of luck to the team and management. Minor County Championship Round 3: North Kerry Rangers travel to Strand Road to take on Laune Rangers in Round 3 of the Minor County Championship on Saturday, October 9 at 3.00pm.
SYMPATHY is extended to the following families:The family of Kathleen Sheahan nee Shanahan of Knocknagorna, Athea and Kilbaha, Moyvane. Kahleen was predeceased by her husband, Sean. She is survived by her son, Mike, daughter, Mary, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Eoin & Aoife, sister Peggy Kinlough, brothers Richie, Athea & Jerry, Kilbaha sisters-in-law Mary & Marian, brother-in-law Jim and extended family. Maura Bourke of Newcastlewest and Gortdromagouna, Moyvane passed away on September 06 . Maura was predeceased by her husband, Michael and brothers, Sean and Dan. She is survived by her sons Pat, John and Mike, daughters Bridget (Lunn), Leonora (Murphy), brothers Patsy and Larry, Moyvane sister Eileen (Shanahan), Lixnaw daughters-in-law Mary, Fiona and Julianne, sons-in-law Mathew and Declan, grandchildren and extended family. More recently Joanne Lynch of Aughrim passed away suddenly in Spain where she had lived for some time. Daughter of the late Tim Lynch and Mai (Collins) she is survived by her son, Mel, brothers Sean and Pat, sister Norma, brother-in-law Denis O’Connor, Aughrim, sisters-in-law Anne and Eileen, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family. She was predeceased by her brother Liam, sister Maura and partner Philip. May they all rest in peace.
