another season has came to an end on Mon. last with  our fun  tournament, the
results of this were Ladies winners  Olive Keane & Cathriona Ambrose R/U Carmel Hudson & Michelle Nolan. Mens winners  ;Timmy Duggan & Ivan O’Brien R/U Donal Enright & Christopher McCarthy. At the Kerry  A.G.M. Pat Higgins & Ml. Corridan were re-elected  as President
& Vice Chairman respectivly & Jennifer Keane was  elected  P.R.O. An enjoyable
Summer to all players & the club will  re-open on Sept. 12th.D.V.

Kerry County Council wishes to advise customers that there may be  interruptions  to the Water Supply, in areas served by Dromin Water  Treatment Plant in North  Kerry from Monday 9th May  to Saturday 14th May. Areas  which may be affected include  Moyvane. This interruption to the Water  Supply  is due to essential maintenance works. Kerry County Council regrets  any  inconvenience caused to customers.

  GAA NOTES
MINORS   Moyvane are due to play the semi-final of the County league this Fri. night.   At time of writing we do not have a fixture so players and supporters are asked to check local posters for clarification.   Lets get out and support them and hope they can get the right result. 

STAND    Roofing of the stand should be going ahead within the next week so again we ask people to be careful around the stand and please obey the warning signs.

UNDER 8 and 10    Training will continue for our U8 and U10 on next Tues. night at 7pm.  All players are asked to be there and enjoy their sessions.    It is hoped to arrange challenge games for them soon. 

TEE SHIRTS   Moyvane G.A.A. tee shirts are on sale from the secretary Teddy Keane at 15 Euro each.   So support your club and wear your colours at get good value as well.
UNDER 12    Moyvane play Na Gaeil in Moyvane on Sun. next in the County league at 7pm.  Training on Thurs. night at 7.30pm.
UNDER 14    Moyvane are due to play on Mon. night in the County league.  Players are asked to check with their trainers about their fixture.
UNDER 16    Moyvane were defeated by Beale in the semi-final of the North Kerry league last Sun. morning.  We certainly had our chances to win the game but just could not put away the scoring chances.   In a high scoring game we lost out on a score of Beale  3 – 13 Moyvane 4 – 6.  We are now waiting for the County leagues in June for our next games.

Commemoration : Gortaglanna Valleys of Knockanure Commemoration will take place on this Sunday evening May 15th at 7pm in Knockanure Village. Speaker Martin Ferris T.D.

The Labour Party would like thank all those who contributed to last weekend’s Church Gate Collection.

Death : The death took place recently of John Nagle Kilmorna, Knockanure. His remains were removed to Knockanure Church on Monday, he was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery following Requiem Mass on tuesday.Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
