Seniors: Last Sunday was D Day for Moyvane Seniors. They took on Ballydonoghue for the third time and it was third time lucky! The margin was tidy but a win is a win and trailing by four points at half time it took determination and grit to fight back. The final score was 2-3 to 0-8. Moyvane will play their last County League game of the year at home to Scartaglin on Sunday, November 14th at 2pm.
Scór: Congratulations to all the Moyvane acts who participated in the Scór na nÓg North Kerry Final in Asdee on Saturday last. Liam Corridan progressed to the County Semi Final in the Solo Singing category. Shea Leahy was runner up in the Recitation and Laura Stack, Liam Corridan, Lisa Mulvihill, Rachel O’ Gorman and Lisa Mulvihill were runners up in the Ballad Group. The quiz team of Donnacha O’ Connor, Dylan Quinn and Liam Corridan also gave a great performance on the night. The County Semi Final will take place in Abbeydorney Community Centre on Friday November 19th at 7pm.

Senior Badminton:
The first competition of the season was a fun tournament held on Wednesday night of last week. Winners of the Ladies section were Eleanor Sheehan and Francine Collins, runners up were Margaret O’Donnell and Laura Quinn. The Mens winners were Con Mulvihill and Padraig Kearney, runners up were Paul Kennelly and Joe Healy. The Divisions 3 & 4 Ladies and mens Leagues start this week, and the November Handicap is on November 14th.
Play continues on Monday and Wednesday nights at 8pm and new members are still welcome.
