Katie Collins, Knocknagorna, Athea recently married Neilius O’Connor, Kilbaha. The ceremony was performed by Fr. Brendan Duggan in Athea church. The best man was Willie Hanrahan and the groomsman was Mike Stanley. The bridesmaids were Elaine Tierney Collins, and Katherine O’Sullivan and the flowergirl was Hazel Hartnett. Reception was at The Devon Inn Hotel in Templeglantine.
Lisa Kearney, daughter of Angela & Joe, Moyvane Village recently married Derek Walsh, Salthill, Galway in the Cathedral Killarney. The ceremony was performed by Fr. Kevin McNamara (P.P. Moyvane). Reception was held at the Malton Hotel, Killarney. The couple will reside in Limerick.

Sr. Dympna Mulvihill (Cork and Moyvane) passed away on December 17th 2016, daughter of the late Edmund and Hannah Mulvihill, (Moyvane Village) and sister of Sr. Joan and the late Michael, Sr. Ursula and Mary. She is survived by her sister, Sr. Joan, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces.
Sympathy to Gerard & Tony Buckley, Knockanure on the death of their brother Neelie Buckley, Knockanure & London, and to the Corridan Family, Murhur on the death of their aunt Mary’s husband John Dillon, Duagh & Kanturk.
Breda Meehan nee Hudson of Kilbaha, Moyvane & Drimeen, Ennis and formerly of Culleen, Kilmaley died December 14th. She is survived by her sons, daughter, daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, brother, William, Kilbaha, sister, Eileen, Listowel.
The death took place recently in Co. Down of Mary McKenna. Mary was a member of a well known Glin Road Family, the Moores. She is survived by Breda, Tom & Jackie Moore all in the US and was predeceased by her sister Hannah Healy. May they all rest in peace.
