SCOIL CHORP CHRIOST, KNOCKANURE: will hold a Christmas Prayer Service in Corpus Christi Church, Knockanure at 7.00pm on Tuesday, December 20 at 7.00pm. All are welcome.

TABLE TOP SALE at Knockanure Community Centre on Sunday, December 18 from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Tables €15. Santa will be there and he is free and all children will receive a treat so make sure you don’t miss it.

MOYVANE ICA held their annual Christmas draw in the Marian Hall on Sunday, December 04. The Christmas food hamper was won by William Hennessy, Killocrim, Listowel. The Listowel voucher went to Kevin Goulding, Ballyduff. The Christmas turkey voucher was won by Jack O’Connor, Moyvane & Brid Stack, Moyvane won the Christmas ham voucher. Mile Buiochas to all who supported the draw and to all the sponsors, North Cork Creameries, Mike Corridan’s Garage and Noel Stack, Butchers.

TARBERT POST OFFICE: Local Property Tax can be paid at Post Offices. The Santa PostBox is ready for all the children’s important Santa letters. Please make sure you include the children’s names and addresses to ensure a reply. The Post Office stocks a large range of envelopes, posting boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap and Christmas cards for posting to your loved ones all over the world. Christmas stamp booklet are now available and are good value at 20 stamps for €20. December 07 is the last day for posting parcels to countries outside the EU for guaranteed delivery before Christmas. The last day for posting parcels to countries in Europe is December13, the UK is December 19 and Ireland is December 22. The special offer of 20 national stamps and 5 international stamps is €28 while stocks last. The post office is open a full day on Saturday, December 17.
