After thorough investigation by those who originally installed the Parish Radio Link, it has emerged that both transmitters are beyond repair and to replace them with a greater signal without having to change current radios will cost in the region of €3,800 to €4,000 approx.

All who called into the Parish Office last weekend were given a free ticket for a Christmas Turkey.  Those who will call in this weekend will receive a ticket too and God willing, the draw will take place on Sunday 13th in the Parish Office after 11am Mass.  So by having a ticket you have a good chance of winning a delightful Christmas Turkey.

The last afternoon tea dance for 2015 takes place on Sunday, December 13th at Fr. Casey’s Clubhouse, Abbeyfeale.  Dancing from 3pm to 6pm. Teas served.  All proceeds to Hope Foundation.

The last car boot sale for 2015 in aid of West Limerick Community Radio takes place on Sunday, December 13th at the Community Centre, Newcastlewest from 7.30am. Your support for local community radio is much appreciated. A huge thank you to all constant stall holders, customers and volunteers who man the gate, make the tea and have kept this monthly fundraiser running since 2005.

The second annual Connie Harnett Memorial Swim will take place in Ballybunion on New Year’s Day. This is a fundraiser organised by Connie’s wife and family in honour of the popular cattle dealer from Abbeyfeale who died in 2014.

AGM: The AGM of Moyvane GAA will be held in The Marian Hall on Friday, January 8th at 8pm.  All nominations and motions to be with the Secretary Micheal Walsh 0879817883  by January 1st.  The position of Secretary is vacant for 2016.
