SOMETIMES THINGS CHANGE and that is what happened with the Juvenile Badminton Fundraiser. The weekend got overcrowded. A lot of people had significant birthdays and they had to be celebrated so the quiz had to move to a new date, Saturday, March 04, same venue, Speedy’s Bar, same time 8.00pm. As you all know Moyvane has a history of really good badminton players. It all starts with the under age players and 2023 is no different from 2013 or 2003, there are always good juveniles coming along and enjoying themselves and keeping the tradition going. They deserve the best and in spite of the fact that there are wonderful volunteers working with them money is always needed. Currently they are training for the Community Games and are having some coaching. Details:  Quiz starts at 8.00pm sharp. €20 for a table of four. Prizes: 1st – €100, 2nd – €50 3rd – €20. There will be a raffle for Spot Prizes on the night. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Look forward to seeing you at Speedy’s on Saturday, March 04.   Marie Flavin, Cahirdown, Listowel.
