Always bestowing his love of rock (heavy rock) on both family and friends. Billy was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in October 2021 and whilst he faced this disease with tremendous courage and strength, he passed away on February 17, 2022. He spent a time in the Palliative Care Unit in UHK where the care, support and treatment were out of this world. He received the best care from the best team. His family will be forever grateful to this incredible team for what they did for Billy. This event is a fitting tribute to Billy and supports an amazing cause. Unfortunately many have been touched by this awful disease and this facility in Tralee, like so many more around the country, has offered patients superior patient care always. All proceeds from this rock night go towards the Palliative Care Unit, UHK. We appreciate your support!MOYVANE BADMINTON In division 4 Men’s League, last Wednesday night January 11, Moyvane played Ballyheigue and won 5 games to 1.
