ONCE AGAIN we said goodbye to another member of our community. Brenda Moriarty left this world on Friday, November 05 having been in a nursing home for a few years before her passing. If you knew Brenda you could never imagine that she would reach the stage in her life where she would not be able to take care of herself. She was a very active member of the community, having been caretaker of the Sports Hall for a number of years and her big thing was keeping the village free of litter and did she do a good job on that? I assure you while Brenda was around it would be more than your life was worth to litter any part of the village!  She was predeceased by her sisters Babs and Madeline, brothers Chris and John. Her sister Phyllis is now left to fly the family flag and may she do so for many years to come. Sympathy to Phyllis and her family, the Barrett family, Lenamore and all other members of the extended Moriarty family.
