The 2007 Christmas Party for the Senior Citizens of the parish was organised by the ICA and was held in the Marian Hall on Dec 9th. It included Mass (celebrated by Father Lucid) followed by a 4-course Meal, Entertainment in the form of a Play (performed by a group of young actors from Knockanure) as well as music (DJ) and dancing. Spot prizes were also raffled during the event. The wonderful ocassion for the elders of the community was well received by all who attended.
