Moyvane Development Association are holding a Scrap Metal Collection from
October 1st to 31st. Clear out your shed or yard and get rid of unwanted scrap
metal. Drop off items to Newtownsandes Co-Op Monday-Friday 9am-3pm and
Sat 9am -12noon. See posters for items suitable for this collection. Funds raised
will benefit Moyvane Development Association, Moyvane LGFA and Moyvane
Senior Badminton Club.
Annual UHK Remembrance Service for Parents and their families who have
lost a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, foetal anomaly, stillbirth or
neonatal death. This service will be held in the Hospital Chapel of Christ the
Healer, Sunday 13 th Oct.’24 at 2.30pm. Light refreshments will be served after.
Lightsource bp is holding a drop-in information session about a proposed solar
and energy storage project on land at Knockanure, Co. Kerry. The event will
be held on Thursday 17th October in the Knockanure Community Centre.
Interested parties can attend on the day between 2 and 7pm.
