A huge
crowd was present at Stack Park in Ballybunion on Sunday 19th
December last for the North Kerry Championship final between
Tarbert and Moyvane. Despite almost 48 hours of rain prior to the game the pitch was in very good condition and the very fine sunny day made it very enjoyable for spectators. |

The match itself lived up expectations with some exciting and thrilling exchanges in a very keenly contested encounter which hung in the balance right up to the end.
It was the greater strength of the Moyvane side which proved decisive in the end with Tarbert ruing the many wides which they accumulated especially early in the second half. The game was very will handled by Paddy Collins of Ballylongford and there were ecstatic scenes as Moyvane were presented with the Eamon O’Donoghue cup.
The final score was Moyvane 0-10, Tarbert 0-6.
Here are a few pictures of a some scenes that took place, in Ballybunion, in the semi-final between Moyvane and Ballylongford two weeks previously.
